Invitation to Contribute

You can see your art and writing published and be part of a collective of women artists and writers who are deeply committed to a feminine lineage of leadership and creativity. The anthology will be published in 2027, and all entries have a deadline of September 1, 2026.

Girl God Books and Dr. Stephanie Mines (founder of the TARA Approach, Climate Change & Consciousness, Regenerative Health for a Climate Changing World, and the Mother of Medicine Movement), are collating an anthology about Nisaba, a little known but supremely important woman of ancient Mesopotamia.

*If you are motivated to share writing or art about Nisaba, you are welcome to submit to Stephanie Mines attara-approach@outlook.com.

While research about Nisaba is scant, Dr. Mines and Trista Hendren, publisher of Girl God Books, are exploring every possible avenue to bring her into contemporary awareness. Nisaba invented and taught writing through her scribal vocation, which was clearly a passion and mission. She was known as The Goddess of the Creative Mind.  She was a real, living being. She not only encouraged writing by spreading literacy, but she was also known to help people complete their writing when they were stalled.

Nisaba linked writing with social justice and healing. She was called the Chief Scribe and The Supreme Nursemaid of Abundance. These titles are recorded in songs and hymns to her, documented in the Electronic Corpus of Sumerian Literature at Oxford University.

Stephanie will be sharing more about Nisaba, and also Ninisina, from that same time, who was the first physician, in her Substack posts on CRONE SPEAK. Visit & Subscribe: https://stephaniemines.substack.com/

If you would like to contribute financially to this project to support its manifestation, you are welcome to do so at www.Tara-Approach.org/donate.

(*Note: Not all submissions will be published. There is no payment available for being published in this anthology. The entire project is voluntary and instigated by the energy of Nisaba herself.)
