Healing and Empowerment: The TARA Practicum

Experience the TARA Practicum
July 24th | 12:30-3 Pacific

Online via Zoom

The TARA Approach is a somatic, trauma-informed, holistic and regenerative approach to uncovering each individual’s resilience and vitality. Designed by neuroscientist and author, Dr. Stephanie Mines, the system includes a significant self-care orientation that empowers the recipient.  The TARA Approach is one of the few paradigms that embraces the entirety of each individual’s biography, or what acupuncturists call “curriculum.” Students of TARA learn about the prenatal origins of health and provide hands-on, easily accessible practices to nervous system integrity even after adverse conditions.

You can witness the TARA Approach in action by attending the Practicum. This is a platform for TARA students to become certified by conducting a TARA session online. Registrants are eligible to be recipients in sessions supervised by Dr. Mines. Registering well in advance is recommended in order to be considered for this opportunity to receive. Recipients are randomly selected by Dr. Mines.

Each session is approximately 90 minutes to one hour in duration, followed by a concise debrief. In this Practicum, two sessions will be offered and facilitated by two practitioner candidates under the direction of Dr. Mines. This gives all participants the opportunity to witness the effectiveness of the TARA Approach and to feel its power.

Students of TARA and the general public are invited to join.
