She's back! Writing and Editing Like a Medicine Woman resumes, starting on August 28th. This new iteration has these sparkling and unique special features that you will not find elsewhere:
Publishing Opportunity: The roots of writing are embodied by Nisaba of ancient Mesopotamia. Stephanie Mines discovered Nisaba through the writing of Elif Shafak. Stephanie felt a stunning kinship with Nisaba that motivated her to search further. Stephanie found the records of Nisaba from archeological digs documented by scholars at the British Museum and Oxford University. Now, Stephanie is collaborating with publisher Trista Hendren of Girl God Books, to publish an anthology about Nisaba. Writings inspired by Nisaba in this course will be considered for publication in this anthology.
The Cycles of Your Language and the Cycles of Your Body: Have you noticed that sometimes your language flows like a river and at other times you are almost mute? What controls these cycles? Learn about the relationship between language cycles, trauma, hormones, and creativity. Learn how to maximize flow and benefit from the pauses, without guilt or shame.
Discounts on Future Programs: When you attend this iteration of Writing and Editing Like a Medicine Woman, you will automatically receive a significant discount on subsequent programs. Our aim is to develop a strong, ongoing cohort of women writers who can trust each other's feedback and sequence to publication
Publishing Resources: Future programs will share Stephanie's insights and resources about agents, publishing, and her perspective on the best steps for bringing your writing into the world.
Somatic Applications to Enhance Creativity: Experience nervous system reorganization and other somatic shifts that enhance the flow of your creativity along with your overall wellbeing.
