EMPOWERING THE HEALER WITHIN
I believe we are our own best healers; it is my job simply to give you the tools that will empower you to heal. The essence of my work is to educate you and guide you to rediscover your relationship with your body, mind, and spirit. This can take place in the form of nutritional therapy, working with herbal medicine, flower essence therapy, shock and trauma renegotiation, Jin Shin TARA, classes and/or mentorship.

At the core of my practice is the belief that all sickness starts with energetic imbalances that are not seen or addressed at their inception. By addressing these root causes of disharmony, we can potentially prevent further physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual disharmonies from manifesting, thus ending the lineage of shock and trauma. The more we move towards balance and harmony, the more we are able to connect with the essence of who we are and experience our full capacity for life. Your healer within is ready, are you?

Teacher: Eloise Manley Schafer
Email: emsokc@sbcglobal.net
Phone: 405-850-5532
Location: Oklahoma City, OK and The Big Island, Hawaii
Bios: Eloise Manley Schafer is a dancer who holds a degree in Movement Studies, a Certified Authentic Movement Facilitator and Certified TARA Approach Self-Care Teacher and Practitioner. She began studying with TARA Approach founder Stephanie Mines in Boulder, CO in 1994 and has maintained her love, study and daily practice of this healing system ever since. Eloise lives, practices and teaches in Oklahoma and on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Early childhood traumas, personal injuries and lifestyle changes led her to pursue movement awareness practices as a means to self-discovery and healing. She believes that to live is to move. We all vibrate with electromagnetic energy and if the flow of that energy is disrupted disharmony results and can manifest physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. Eloise is eager to guide you toward awareness of your natural inner rhythms and help you re-connect with your inherent body wisdom to self-heal. By teaching you the subtle energy medicine techniques of TARA Approach Self-Care, she can empower you to use your hands, compassionate awareness and focus intention to achieve the following goals:

1. Relief of painful symptoms
2. Increased immune function
3. Release of old destructive thought patterns and habits
4. Resolution of emotional wounds
5. Maintenance of health and sense of well-being.

Don't stay stuck in chronic disharmony and imbalance. Honor yourself by learning TARA Approach Self-Care and move toward greater fluidity, resilience and authentic presence in your everyday experience.

  Disclaimer

At the request of many visitors to our website, we have prepared a list of TARA APPROACH practitioners. The practitioners listed here have studied at various levels. The training level they have completed is indicated. These entries will be revised as practitioners continue to complete higher levels of study.

Most of these practitioners practice a variety of healing modalities, in addition to the TARA APPROACH. Practitioners who have trained in the application of the TARA APPROACH are not required to apply the TARA APPROACH in their practice. The TARA APPROACH encourages each potential recipient to discuss with his/her practitioner the interventions to be applied. Interviewing your therapist-candidate is highly recommended.

The decision to apply the TARA APPROACH, and the manner of its application, is a decision made exclusively by the practitioner based on his/her best professional judgment after consultation with the client. The TARA APPROACH and the Dom Project are not responsible for the decisions or actions in the course of treatment. The TARA APPROACH and the Dom Project do not evaluate, or make any representation regarding the degree of competence or expertise demonstrated by the individual practitioners included on this list.
