Course Description
In her own life journey of healing and spiritual growth, Dr. Stephanie Mines creatively
combined her twenty years of practice in a Japanese intervention named the Art of Jin Shin with her extensive study and
experience in the resolution of shock and trauma. In her book, We Are All in Shock, the founder of the TARA Approach,
states that, "The level of stress in modern cultures has direct and profound impact on the human energy system."
However, there are solutions to resolve the impacts shock and trauma has on the human spirit, body and mind.
This class is the first step in the foundations of the Tara Approach. Participants learn:
*To locate and vitalize the highly charged bioelectrical sites on meridian lines to support overall healthy and wellbeing;
*To differentiate shock from trauma;
*To differentiate sympathetic from parasympathetic activation and to balance each;
*To treat yourself and others with energy medicine and energy psychology for a broad spectrum of needs.
*Participants receive a comprehensive text that includes:
*The locations, functions and influences of each bioelectric point;
*Short self-care meridian releases;
*Recommended daily routines;
*Jin Shin Tara First Aid; and
*The energetic releases on the hands and feet.
This class is open to all who are interested in the following:
*Sustaining and supporting their health and well being;
*Relieving painful physical symptoms;
*Increasing immune function;
*Releasing destructive thought patterns, habits and coping styles; and
*Supporting family members and friends.

Course Description
Course Description: The perinatal or birth process shapes our physical, emotional and spiritual experience of being seen.
All physiological structures are compressed and decompressed in the birth journey. Difficulties during this passage make
lasting marks on all functions. Cranial patterns in particular are highly reflective of birth and immediate post-natal
events. Students in this class will learn how the Jin Shin TARA map of the Sacred Sites of the Body offers opportunities
for repatterning early physical dysfunction resulting from the perinatal experience. They will also learn special
cranial interventions specifically for critical birth traumas such as forceps and Caesarean delivery. The concomitant
psychological and spiritual responses to birth shock will be addressed in detail, with remedies provided for all
circumstances. Students will receive handouts available only to those at this level of learning. The teaching
methodology will be didactic and highly experiential with multiple demonstration treatments. Emphasis will be
placed on students resolving their own early traumas but because of the advanced nature of the material it will
be clear that practitioner skills are simultaneously being instilled. Special discounts are available for students
taking this course and the Self Care Teacher Training later in the month. Space is limited. Early registration is
highly recommended.

Course Description
We are in a time of global uncertainty and unrest. Our nervous systems are overwhelmed
by daily stressors. Survival mode is standard operating procedure. Recent neuroscience research has demonstrated that
illness and disease are actually the results of conditioned responses to stress that are initiated within the nervous
system. Now is the time to embrace a new paradigm for total health and well-being that focuses on balancing the nervous
system.
The TARA Approach healing system is a forerunner of this new paradigm. It empowers individuals to take charge of their
own health and well-being and guides them toward using their resources to self-heal. It is time to awaken the healer
within and place yourself in the center of your own healing process.
In this introductory Self-Care class participants will learn the following:
1. Self attunement through the practice of compassionate attention and sensory awareness and why it is the key to the prevention and treatment of shock and trauma;
2. How to subtly touch specific bio-electrically charged sites on the body to reorganize and regenerate the nervous system; thereby bringing resolution to developmental, structural, psychological and spiritual disharmonies;
3. The importance of developing resources in the prevention of overwhelming experience.

Course Description
The TARA Approach was established because of a fundamental belief that individuals could and should be responsible for
their own health. This belief is inspired by a faith in human intelligence and motivation for good. Educating people
about their own bodies from a holistic perspective, about health, and how health is damaged is inherent to the TARA
Approach. But most importantly, the TARA Approach is about resources for empowering, sustainable healing. TARA stands
for Tools for Awakening Resources and Awareness. The TARA Approach puts into the hands of the average person the
capacity to go beyond the average, the capacity to fully embody human potential and transform all healthcare challenges
through the power of awareness.
